Ben's Blog

Hello, world

Hello,

My name is Ben Schifman. If you are reading this website, you have probably searched for information about me; this website has some basic information.

I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. I lived in Tucson until 2003 when I moved to Portland, Oregon to attend Lewis & Clark College (L&C). At L&C I doubled majored in Political Science and Environmental Studies and wrote my senior theses on framing effects, risk perception and global climate change. After graduating from L&C, I worked for Portland General Electric as a clerk, for Powerscore as a LSAT instructor, and for L&C as a debate coach. In 2008, I moved to New York City to begin law school at Columbia University. I spent summer 2009 back in Portland, working for the Portland Metropolitan Public Defender. I have recently began my 2L year at Columbia.
